E&R (TWSE: 8027), a leading supplier of advanced laser and plasma process equipment, held its Annual General Shareholders’ Meeting on June 18 and successfully completed the election of a new Board of Directors.

The newly elected board includes Independent Director Dr. Chih-Huang Lai, Vice Dean of the College of Semiconductor Research at National Tsing Hua University, and Independent Director Tzu-Chien Lin, a veteran professional with extensive experience in investment banking and capital markets. In addition, Mr. Kevin Chang, Director of Sales and Marketing, has been appointed as a Director. Leveraging his expertise in market development, supply chain management, and deep knowledge of the Company’s operations, Kevin will bring frontline market insights and customer needs directly into the decision-making process, demonstrating E&R’s commitment to talent development and organizational transformation.

Management Team Upgrade to Strengthen Global Expansion

To support the strategic direction of the new Board, E&R has also implemented a comprehensive management restructuring:

• Mr. KS Chen, Executive Vice Chairman, will concurrently serve as President, assuming full responsibility for the company’s overall operations and management.
• Mr. Eric Chang has been appointed General Manager of Investments Business and Chief Financial Officer, continuing to oversee the Group’s finance, risk management, investment portfolio integration, and strategic collaborations with domestic and international universities and research institutions.
• Mr. Vic Chao, former Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed Senior Vice President of Projects, where he will focus on advancing TGV commercialization and key strategic initiatives.
• Mr. Allen Lin, former Director of Marketing and Corporate Spokesman, has been promoted to Vice President of Public Relations Office while continuing to serve as the Group’s spokesman, overseeing investor relations, media communications, and corporate branding.

Integrating Operational Resources to Drive Global Growth

Mr. Kevin Chang, Director of Sales and Marketing, newly elected Director, and Vice Spokesman, has been promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing in recognition of his extensive experience in international business development and supply chain integration.

In addition to continuing his roles as General Manager of E&R’s U.S. subsidiary and Vice Spokesman, Kevin will oversee global sales and marketing, materials department, and human resources. His expanded responsibilities will further strengthen cross-functional integration, talent development, organizational transformation, and resource optimization to enhance the company’s overall competitiveness.

Following the completion of the board re-election and organizational restructuring, E&R will continue to combine the industry expertise of its senior leadership team with the innovation and agility of a new generation of management talent.
